TF Type Flanges
Model TF flanges are made from the identical high-strength cast iron as the S flanges, but are built to accommodate the international standard Taper Lock bushing for easy installation and removal
TF Type flanges let for mounting the bushing about the front (hub) side from the flange
TF flanges are available in sizes 6 via 16 and may be utilised with any style of sleeve as pictured on page SF-5
TR Style Flanges
TR flanges are very similar for the TF design, but make it possible for for your Taper Lock Bushing to get mounted and removed from
the reverse or serration side of your flange
The limited torque ratings in the Taper Lock Bushings permit TR flanges to only be used with EPDM or Neoprene sleeves
Different bushing sizes are employed, so they have unique optimum bores compared to the TF flanges
Sizes six by sixteen are available
Taper-Lock Bushings
The business typical taper lock bushing is often a split style and design permitting a compression match on the flange to your shaft without having set screws
The basic style and design makes the set up and elimination straightforward although the 8° taper grips tight and gives exceptional concentricity
A Reduced level of inventory is often achieved due to the many other energy transmission elements that use Taper Lock Bushings like: sheaves, sprockets, and pulleys
won’t supply the Taper-Lock Bushings themselves as they’re extensively offered from other manufacturers
